TALKS WITH MR GANDHI
UNDER QUEER CIRCUMSTANCES. (Times Cables.) Received January 21) 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. The Bombay correspondent of tho Times says that political circles arc evincing great interest in the Marquess off Lothian’s conversations with Mr Gandhi at Sheogaon, in the Central Provinces, where he is living in a mud hut adjoining Mr Gandhi’s) and partaking of the same food as the members of Mr Gandhi’s settlement. His interviews with Mr Gandhi last only an hour daily, owing tp Mr Gandhi’s poor health.
The Marquess of Lothian is Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the India Office.-
