WOOL STORE DISPUTE.

STILL NO SETTLEMENT. NAPIER, Jan. 20. The wool store strike at Napier still continues, despite the statement bv the Minister of Labour (Hon. H. T. Armstrong), in Wellington last night, that lie had been assured by members of the Court of Arbitration that the matter of the new award would be gone into at Auckland on Monday. A meeting of the strike committee was held last evening, and a special meeting of the men took place this morning, but there are no new developments, and the secretary of the Napier branch of the union (Mr J. Murphy) is still unable to make any statement for publication. When the Minister’s statement was referred to him this morning, he said, “Yes, we’ve seen to that, but we have no statement to make.”
