MEMORIAL FUND SUGGESTED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 20. A suggestion that a memorial fund be opened at Auckland as an expression of sympathy with the relatives of Captain Edwin Musiclc and the crew of the Samoan Clipper was made at a meeting of the council of the Chamber of Commerce to-day by the president, Mr W. R. Fee. Members stood in silence as a tribute to the memory of tlie clipper’s crew.
