ACCIDENTAL DEATH.

AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY. Received January 20, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 20. The Coroner, after a further investigation into the death of the jockey, M. Papworth, reiterated that death was accidental. He said that he was convinced that nothing more could have been done to save the hoy’s life at the St. Vincent Hospital.

■A message from Sydney on Tuesday stated that a Coroner held an inquiry into the death of Maxwell Papworth, the apprentice jockey who was killed in the racing smash at Randwick on December 18. A verdict was returned of accidental death, not caused by rough riding or crowding.
