COMPLAINTS IN RANGITIKEI. Per Press Association. MARTON, Jan. 20. A meeting of the Rangitikei Potato Growers’ Association resolved to write to the Department of Agneulture in reference to the irregular trading of certified seed coming from the South Island and the unsatisfactory state of many sacks used, the department being urged to tighten up the regulations in an endeavour to effect an improvement. One merchant stated that he understood on good authority that the Goveminent intended to fix the size of the bag for the following season, the Chapman bag being favoured.
