MAINLY FAIR TO FINE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 20. An anti-cyclone of moderate but decreasing intensity covers the Dominion. A cyclone is located off the Queensland coast and pressure is falling somewhat over south-eastern Australia. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds with northerlies predominating. The weather will be mainly fair to fine but with considerable low cloud and in places possibly fog in the early morning. The seas will be slight to moderate. RIVER GAUGE Noon.—lft 10in.
