BOY’S BODY RECOVERED.
Per Press Association. NELSON, Jan. 19. The body of Douglas Alan Thomas, •aged 12, whose parents reside at Motueka, was recovered in a deep pool in the Matiri River, near Murchison, today. Thomas was spending a holiday at Matiri, and went for a bathe in the river on Sunday afternoon. He got into difficulties and. disappeared despite his companidh’s efforts to save him.
