MORE MOTOR VEHICLES.
There was a large increase in the number of motor vehicles licensed in New Zealand last year, the total ,at December 31 being 265,362. The Post-master-General (Hon. F. Jones), m am interview yesterday, said this represented an increase of 25,129, or well over 10 per cent, on the corresponding registrations for the previous year. Motor-cycle licenses decreased by more than IiOO. or fully 5 per cent, the Minister added.
