SUCCESSFUL MEETINGS. “Why I am a Christian” was the subject of a very interesting address delivered at the North Island camp or the Seventh Day Adventists, last evening, by Pastor N. C. Burns, B.Th. A brilliant speaker, he traced incidents which, he said, proved the fulfilment of prophecy. Mr Burns, who was born in Melbourne, was a missionary for 16 years, serving in America, India and Fiji. For the past 12 months he has been conducting a lecturing campaign in Auckland. Later in' the week Mr Burns will speak again on the subject. Why the League of Nations Could Not Hold Mussolini.” ■■ At the camp, which is located at the Showgrounds, meetings a.re being held at regular intervals to-day. All ages are being catered for, from a kindergarten class up to the special services for tlie adults. There are people m attendance from all parts of the island and more continue to arrive.
