MEDAL FOR INVENTOR.
CHEMICAL INDUSTRY’S AWARD. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 18. The medal of the Society of Chemical Industry has been awarded to Dr. L. H. Baekeland, the successful American inventor and founder of the plastics industry, whose name is perpetuated in the well-known commodity backlite. The medal will be presented at Ottawa next June.
