MEET DEATH TOGETHER. BOSTON, Jan. 18. A b’zarre case is reported in which a candv-maker, aged 55, and his son, aged 25, were electrocuted for a murder, in which the father insisted his son’ had not participated; but he refused to sign an affidavit to that effect to obtain his son’s reprieve on the ground that he wanted him to accompany him to death. “My son is .innocent, hut I love him so much I do not want to leave him behind, me. I will die happy,” he said.

The son said lie bore no resentment, and shook hands with hi-* father a few seconds before they met their death. The father said, “Gocd-bye, but I’ll see you again.”
