PETITION BY SALESMAN. ADJOURNED MEETING. The adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of L. H. Inkpen, salesman, of Palmerston North, Was held yesterday, and after bankrupt had been examined the meeting was adjourned sine die. The DeputyOfficial Assignee (Mr F. C. Litchfield) presided. Bankrupt, under oath, stated that he undertook betting only seldom, and it would not amount to more than £4 a year. All his assets had been divulged and he had not had a partner.

The chairman said that when the equity in bankrupt’s property had been realised there would be quite n good dividend. Bankrupt was represented by Mr J. M. Gordon and Mr F. Gatley appeared for Messrs Barraud and Abraham Ltd., Mr S. W. Rapley appearing for the Palmerston North Co-operative Building Society.
