MADAME LUPESCU IN RUMANIA,
LONDON, Jan. IS. Madame Lupescu has not left Rumania, says tlie Bucharest correspondent of, the Daily Telegraph. She told an interviewer that she had not the least intention of leaving. “Yes, I am a fugitive and have been exiled again,” said Madame Lupescu, friend of King Carol of Rumania, in an exclusive interview with a correspondent of the People, in Paris, according to a message received on January 10. “I left Rumania,” she added, “because I put the country first. My association with King Carol had been made an issue at the elections, and I was bound to t<ke notice of the result. I told the King that I was ready to go. He was umrilling, but I insisted.”
