THE COMMON COLD.
RESEARCH CAMPAIGN. LONDON, Jan. 6. Doctors are planning a IQ-ycar onslaught against common colds, which cost the nation millions of pounds each year. They admit that no appreciable advance lias been made in the treatment of colds for the last 100 years. Under the direction of the Medical Research Council, large-scale research work will be begun almost immediately in hospital laboratories and medical schools.
