EXECUTION OF BASQUES.

THIRTY-ONE SHOT IN PRISON. Received January 18. 10.35 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 17. The Basque Government delegate in London confirms the continuation of General Franco’s wholesale execution of Basque leaders, officials and others. He adds that apart from the 128 persons executed in December, 31 were shot at La-rringa Prison in Bilbao on January 9 despite the Loyalists’ clemency to the rebel captives at Teruel.
