RANGITIKEI.
MARTON, Jan. 14. At a meeting of the WanganuiRangitikei Electric Power Board the secretary (Mr Ammundsen) reported, inter alia, that the meter readings for December showed an qdvance of £712 11s 8d over the figures for the'same month of the previous year, the totals being £7605 7s 7d -and £6892 15s lid respectively. The increase m the use of domestic electricity, was mainly responsible. , Miss M. H. Byres, N.Z.R.M., who has just completed a term of training in Christchurch, has been successful in passing the State examination for midwives. Miss R. Keogh has returned to YY ellington to join the trained staff of the Alexandra Home. Miss Keogh has been the guest of Mrs M. Byres.
