FEUDING SALE.
AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd. fine, ill Eng.) report on tlie -Tedding sale held oil Friday as follows: Fat sheep were in short supply and the market registered a hardening tendency, .with an. advance of Is to Is 6d n head on the two-tooths. The store sheep section consisted of practically all lambs, of which the majority wore shorn. The quality of the sheep submitted, which came forward in fully advertised numbers, was quite good. The sale was steady throughout and, although prices declined Is to Is 6d on the previous week, vendors elected to meet the market and there wore very few passings. Some of the major sales in our consignment were as follow : —On account Mr F. B. Grotrian, Polmngina, shorn w.f. wether lambs, 18s, 16s 7d, 12s 3d,' and 12s 2d: shorn w.f. ewo lambs, 16s 3d. On account Mr H. 13. Johnston, Feilding, shorn w.f. ewo lambs, 21s: shorn b.f. lambs, 13s 2d. On account Mr 11. Alder, Buimytliorpe, woolly b.f. lambs, 18s 4d; 4 and svr ewes, 18s 3d. On account Mr A. 0. Moyrick, Aokautcro, shorn w.f. wether lambs, 16s sd. On account Mr J. J. Roberts. Pohainga, shorn w.f. wether lambs, 13s 9d; shorn 2(h wethers 21s Bd. Boner cal tie sold well in adVuncc of late sales, as did fat cattle, most of which were ex dairy sorts. Fat sheep: Wethers, 21s, 24s 9d, 25s sd, 25» 9d, to 27s 6d ; owes, 16s 6d, 17s 2d, 18s, 18s 6d; lambs 21s 6d, 22s 6d, 25s 4d. Store cattle : Boner cows, £3 7s 6d. £3 10s, £3 12s 6d, £3 12s 6d, £4 ss, £4 10s, £4 15s; c-ows and calves, £4 2s. £5 12s 6d. Fat cattle: Exdairy cows, £4 12s 6d, £4 15s, £4 17s 6d, £5, £5 7s 6d, £5 lls, £5 15s, £6 2s 6d, £6 17s 6d; heifers, £5, £5 10s to £6 15s; vealers, 30s to £2 12s 6d.
