THE WEATHER
FINE AND WARM. There is still comparatively little change in the situation. A rather intense anti-cyclone is covering the Dominion with its centre east of the South Island. The forecast is for light to moderate and variable winds, but with south-easterlies predominating. The weather will still be fine and warm, but with much low cloud and, in places, mist or fog in the early morning. The seas will be slight to moderate. RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—lft lOin.
