GERMAN EXPEDITION. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Jan. 14. A new attempt is being planned by German mountaineers to ascend Mount Nanga Panba in the summer under the leadership of Herr Paul Bauer, says the Berlin correspondent of the Times. Herr Bauer has headed several major Himalayan enterprises. Nanga Parbat, in the Zanskav range of the Himalayas, in the south-west of Baltietan,. rises to 26.620 feet. The Indus, flowing through Baltistan, makes a great bend round this mighty peak. A GermatiAmerican expedition attempted its ascent in 1932.
