FOR ALL IRELAND
PARLIAMENT AT DUBLIN, . PROPOSAL FOR LONDON TALKS. MR DE VALERA’S SUGGESTION. (Unjted Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copy right.) Received January 15, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 14. An All-Ireland Parliament at Dublin, in which Northern Ireland people would have representation in addition to their own Parliament, is one of the proposals that the President of Eire (Mr Eamon de Valera) is likely to submit at Monday’s meeting in London, says the Daily Mail’s Dublin correspondent. It is believed that Mr de Valera will suggest that this system should operate for from 10 to 15 years, after which a plebiscite should be held to. decide whether the six Northern Counties should be completely cut off from the others as at present. The Daily Telegraph’s Dublin correspondent says that Mr de Valera may also cause surprise by offering to transfer the dispute land annuities money, amounting to £4,000,000 yearly, into a defence contribution.
