AIRCRAFT POST.

EXPERIENCED CHAIRMAN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 13. Sir Charles Gardner, who has been appointed the first executive chairman of the Society of British Aircraft Constructors, has had wide commercial and industrial experience and is wellknown in the city for his work in rationalising the industry. His chief duties will be to interpret to the Air Ministry and the aircraft industry the views and wishes of each. It is hoped in this way to remove difficulties between manufacturers and the industry. The conferment of Sir Charles’s knighthood was announced in the New Year honours.
