Twelve persons have been executed at Gijon (Spain), including Herrerita, a Spanish footballer, for complicity in a plot to destroy Spanish aeroplanes, which resulted in six ’planes setting out on a raid to bomb Oviedo, all crashing a few yards from the start and all the pilots being killed.
