LABOUR PARTY.

FEILDING BRANCH. A marked increase in Labour Party interests lias been manifested since Feilding is now the centre of the Mamnvatu electorate. Mr W. H. Oliver chaired the monthly meeting of the Feilding branch. Further names were added to the membership roll. The Manawatu L.R.C. meeting is being held at Shannon during the week-end, when Messrs W. H. Oliver, F. McDonald, and Ernest Petty will attend. A motion of sympathy was passed on behalf of the secretary, Mr G. Sliapleski, who is still in hospital, on account of his accident some months ago. Mr Petty is deputising for him.
