CABLES AND WIRELESS.
DIVIDEND DECLARED. Received August 20. 9.55 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 19. Cables and Wireless, Ltd., have declared a preference dividend of 2£ per cent. The company decided not to fill the vacancy caused, by Marchese Marconi’s death. The shareholders passed a resolution limiting the maximum number of directors to 15 in the interests of economy.
