Tho report stated, inter alia: “The association was inaugurated on April 27, 1936. The committee consists of tho members of the School Committee and eight other members. Wo started with an excellent bank account of £l4, the proceeds of tho previous fancy dress ball. We think our great achievement has been the building and furnishing of tho extension of tho corridor, which is a great, asset to the school for the comfort of the teachers and children in case of sickness. Without the help of the school committco, and the school jubilee committee, who donated £4 towards our funds, we could not have accomplished this, and our thanks arc duo to them. We wind up the financial year with a credit balance of £1 18s 7d, having spent tho rest on the improvements to tho school. Our aim has been to add to tho comfort and efficiency of the school, and wo fool that we have effected tins in some degree.” Votes of thanks were accorded the chairwoman and secretary.
