WATERSIDE WORKERS.
DECISION TO RESUME. Per Pres sAssociation. WELLINGTON, Aug. 9. Work was resumed on the waterfront this morning following a stopwork meeting of the Watersiders Union, when the orevious resolution to refrain from offering labour was rescinded. It is understood that thounion agreed to give the control of labour that tho shipowners requested. To-day work is being resumed under the old conditions and the shipowners have agreed to put the bureau system of work into operation to-morrow morning.
