WRESTLING, TO-NIGHT.
ALTERATION IN PRINCIPALS. The local Wrestling Association had. to decide a knotty problem last evening, whan it became known that the police authorities in Wellington had cancelled the wrestling license issued to “King Kong” Cox, who was to have met Blomfield to-night at the Opera House. The booking had been exceptionally heavy, so, to save disappointment to many patrons, telegrams and telephone were u6ed freely, and, after many names had been submitted to the Palmerston North Wrestling Association executive. Frank Judson, a big 16i-9tone New York wrestler, was accepted on his reputation as a draw-card at Madison Square Gardens. The association is fortunate in being able to secure a man of his calibre, who since his arrival here has defeated George Walker. It will be interesting to see how the favourite New Zealander, Blomfield, compares with the American, who has wrestled all the leading heavyweights in his own country. This should be a good match, but if any person with reserved seat tickets feels he would want a refund ho may, by applying to the secretary, either to-night or through the post by Saturday, have his full money refunded.
