MISSING SOVIET FLIERS.
SNOWSTORMS STOP . SEARCH. FAIRBANKS, Aug. 18. An Arctic snowstorm north from Point Barrow which is expected to last a week has virtually stopped the search for the Soviet fliers. The searching ’planes have landed. One, however, will search from Aklavik. Mr Hollick Kenyon, who is helping Sir Hubort Wilkins in the search for the Soviet fliers, was with the last Lincoln Ellsworth expedition to the Antarctic, and was missing with Ellsworth for two months at the end of 1935 until rescued by the Royal Research ship Discovery II in January, 1936.
