QUINTUPLETS ISOLATED.
INFANTILE PARALYSIS PRECAUTIONS. OTTAWA, Aug. 18. Because'64 cases of infantile paralysis, 11 of which were fatal, have occurred in Southern Ontario, Dr. Dafoe has strictly isolated the Dionne quintuplets. Even members of their own family are not allowed to enter the nursery. . . The doctor stressed that conditions in the nursery are as nearly perfect as is humanly possible, but extreme caution is necessary.
VICTORIAN EPIDEMIC. FEARS IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Received August 19, 10.15 a.ni. SYDNEY, Aug. 19. It was reported last night that the State Government contemplates ask-, ing the Federal Government to isolate Victorian children and placo an embargo upon them visiting New South Wales -owing to the rapid spread or infantile paralysis in Victoria.
