SKELETONS UNEARTHED. OPPONENTS OF THE ROMANS. NEW FACTS EXPECTED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received August 19, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, Aug. IS. Thirty skeletons unearthed at a burial ground at Maiden Castle, Dorchester, are expected to reveal new facts about a type of early Britons believed to bo the inhabitants of a hill fortress who died defending their city against the Romans. Many showed sword cuts.

One was buried with a beer mug in his right hand and another was clutching a mutton bone.
