WAR RISK RATES.

NEW ZEALAND TO SHANGHAI. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. Cables received by a local firm give Lloyd’s war risk rates to Shanghai, which yesterday cost sixpence per cent., but are now increased to 200 s per cent, warehouse to warehouse. For a warehouse at Wellington to ship’s side at Shanghai the increase in 60s per cent. Cables also give varying rates for various parts of the Chinese interior. The rates to Hong Kong have increased by only 5s per cent., warehouse to warehouse, and 2s Id to the ship’s side.
