The depression over the south-west Tasman Sea has, however, deepened considerably. Forecast: Light to moderate northerly winds prevailing and later freshening. Weather fine and mild but cloud increasing to-morrow. Seas slight to moderate. RIVER GAUGE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. Noon. —2ft. 6in.
