WIDE INQUIRY TC BE MADE.

OTTAWA, Aug. 15. Important constitutional changes are expected to result from the investigations of a Royal Commission -whose appointment was announced by the Prime Minister of Canada (Mr Mackenzie King). Its purpose is to examine the economic and financial basis of the Canadian confederation and the distribution of legislative powers, including the allocation of taxes. In a statement Mr Mackenzie King said it had been represented that Governmental powers were inadequate to meet economic and social changes.
