The New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau in Los Angeles is doing good work, according to Mrs L. G. Twining, of Phoenix, Arizona, who arrived. at Wellington yesterday. “The bureau officials talked me into coming to New Zealand, and I am delighted with the itinerary that they made out for me before I left,” she said. A member of the session of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wellington, while in Glasgow last year made one of the first moves in preparation for the church’s centenary celebration in 1940, by culling from the Glasgow Herald information relating to the selection of Scottish emigrants and the proceedings on the sailing of the Ben•*nl M"- han + from the Clyde in October, 1839.
