Arbor Dav in Feilding will bo celebrated by the Borough Council on Wednesday, when a brief ceremony will bo held at the intersection of Derby Street and Kimboltcn Road to mark the commencement of the tree-planting scheme for that street. Although the requisite number of trees has net so far been pronnVed, the council, in anticipation of further early offers ,has placed an order for sufficient trees to complete the whole length of the street (140)' and the work of planting these will be carried out before the end of the month.
