MINOR OUTBREAK OF FIRE

The Palmerston North Fire Brigade wore summoned at 12.45 p.m. to-day to a fire which had broken out at the rear of the city traffic offices in the Square. The outbreak occurred in a small compartment which houses the furnace for the heating system of the offices-and of the ladies’ rest rooms, and although some wood was ablaze ao serious damage was done to the building. lhe flumes were quelled in a few minutes by the chemical apparatus.
