Per Pre c s Association. GISBORNE. Aug. 17. Nine chargee of theft and failing to account for his employer's money were admitted bv James Livingstone, a god 20. before Mr AA'alton. S.M., to-day. The total amount involved w T as nearly £SO. Detective Belton said that accused had been leading an extravagant life, spending a pound a day. and right from the commencement of his employment he was dishonest, going from bad to worse. Too much responsibility and had companions were the causes assigned by counsel. Accused was remanded in custody. •
