' ORGANISING RESCUE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received August 17, 1.55 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 16. The Russian organisers of the rescue flights to the Pole believe that the search for the missing ’plane may occupy a week or longer. No further signals have been picked up in Alaska. The cabled reports of weak signals received in Moscow are the only clue on which the fliers at Fairbanks are working. Earlier details appear on page 7.
