FINALS PLAYED AT IIYE. RYE, Aug. 15. In the finals of the men’s singles at the Eastern turf tennis championships, R. L. Riggs beat F. Parker, 6—3, 7—5, 7—5. In the semi-finals Parker heat F. Shields, 12—10, I—6, 6—4; Riggs heat Hunt, 6—3, 4—6, 6—4, 3—6, 6—3. The men’s doubles final was won by J. D. Budge and C. G. Mako, who heat Parker and Shields, 2—6, B—6, 6—2, 3 6. 6—3. In the semi-finals Budge aiul Mako heat J. McDiarmid and Hondrix, 6—l, 6—l, 6—3; Parker and Shields heat Wetherell and Kamrath, 2—6, 6—l, 6—3, 6 3. In the final of the women’s doubles Miss A. Marble and Mrs M. Fabyan beat Miss C. Babcock and Mrs Van Ryn, 9—7, 6—l.
