' EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION.

An expression of tho warm appreciation felt by the inmates of the Awapuni Home of the various organisations who contribute entertainment is contained in a communication from Air H. J. Canton. The provision of musical programmes, with light refreshments, demanding a sacrifice of their time by the members of the societies and clubs concerned, has earned the gratitude of the old folk. There are resident at the home many who were pioneers in the early days of the. city and district, and tho kindly attention they are receiving from the nursing staff and others is greatly appreciated.
