PERSONAL.

The many friends of Mrs Ernest Petty, of Feilding, will regret to learn that her sister, ' Mrs Canaven, passed away at Christchurch oil Friday. Mr and Mrs F. It. Hills, with Mr G. and Miss F. Hills, were recent guests of “Pine Hill. 5 * Colyton, and at the diamond wedding celebration of Mr and Airs C. H. Arrow, “Hill Crest,” Paliiatua, Mrs Hill’s uncle. Miss P. Gilmour, of Feilding, is visiting Auckland. Miss H. Abraham is a Dunedin visitor to Feilding, and is staying with Miss M. Miles, of West Street.

The wedding took place at St. Matthew’s Church, Hastings, on Friday evening, of Alias Olga i< lorence Hen-

derson, elder daughter of Air and Mrs W. F. Henderson, of Hastings, and Air Howard Clarence Percy, of Wellington, only son of Airs P. D. Hall, of Feilding. ' Rev. K. Liggett performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by four bridesmaids, Alisses Nola Henderson (chief), her sister, Brenda and Patricia Percy, sisters of the bridegroom, and Bona Long, the bride’s cousin, as well as a flower girl, Vivienne Spackman, of AVellington. Mr W. K. Bond, of Dannevirke, was best man, and the groomsmen were Alessrs T. Henderson, J. Dallimore, and L. McCarthy. Air and Airs H. C. Percy will make their future home in Wellington.
