WOODVILLE.

- WOODVILLE, Aug. 14. The death occurred suddenly on Wednesday morning of Mrs Jane Eliza Dew, wife of Mr T. W. Dew, of Woodville. The deceased lady, who was 62 years of age, had been ailing for several days. The late Mrs Dew was well known in the district, having resided in Woodville for a long period. She was of a very kindly disposition and her passing was mourned by a large circle of friends. The members of the family are her husband, three sons (Reginald, of Feilding, Norman of Woodville, and Eustace, of Hastings) and two daughters, Mrs R. Adams (New Plymouth) and Florence (Woodville). Mr D. B. McLeod, of the Bank of New Zealand staff, has been notified df bis transfer to Christchurch.
