Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. }4. _ “Every discussion we had was amicable anil reasonable,” said Hon. W. Nash, referring to his discussions with the United States Government and Pan-American Airways regarding the service from America to New ' Zealand. “There is every indication that the company will continue the arrangements for the inauguration of the service. All that remains is for the details to be considered by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Transport and myself. lam hoping that the service will soon he commenced.”
He added that there was a reciprocity clause providing that Empire aircraft should have facilities in Ame'ricnn territorv similar to those we granted the Americans. New Zealand h*"d the right to cancel the agreement. He did not think the sendee would be in operation by the end of the year.
