ITALIAN DESTROYER.
ACCUSED OF SINKING .TANKER. TUNIS, Aug. .12. Thirty survivors of the Spanish Government, tanker Campeador accuse Italian destroyers of sinking the They state that 12 of the crew were trapped in the engine-room and burnt alive in blazing oil and that the Italian w-arship Saetta circled round the Campeador and ivas later joined by another. A destroyer not flying a flag followed and shelled the Campeador at nightfall and continued shelling as boats were lowered. The Campeodor is still burning, and a French naval cutter is guarding her. A Valencia message states that three were killed and nine injured when the Government destroyer Churruca was torpedoed bya n unknown submarine. It returned to Cartagena for repairs.
