SOVIET CALL TO THE COLOURS. LONDON, Aug. 12. The Moscow correspondent of the Daily Telegraph s I/s that the Defence Commissar, Marslial Voroshiloff, issued a decree yesterday calling to the colours the whole of the '916 class of conscripts, also half the 1915 class. The trade union organ, Labour, affirms that this call is a feast lor the entire land and a joyous event for every Soviet citizen. It adds: “The war clouds are becoming denser. Fascism is already preparing for war against the Soviet.”
