FEILDING STOCK SALE.
GOOD FAT HOGGETS. SMALL ENTRY OF STORE SHEEP. The Feilding stock sale was held in fine weather to-day, when the entry of fat hoggets was a large one and consisted of slieep in good condition. There was a heavy yarding of fat wethers, including several pens of newly-shorn sheep. A race and ahalf comprised the fat ewe entry. Only a small entry of breeding ewes was offered, the - lines being only of medium quality. Store hoggets were yarded in smaller numbers, and were of indifferent quality. A particularly good entry of dairy cows and heifers came forward, while there was also a good offering of exdairy beef and a medium yarding of station cattle, the latter lacking quality. The usual yarding of store cows and yearling Jersey heifers was penned. The offering of fat hoggets met with strong competition, many lines being of extra good quality, while the yarding of fat wethers contained exceptionally well-conditioned sheep, which brought up to 395.
