Six building permits for work valued at £2196 were issued in Fcilding during July. The Feilding Amateur Cycling Club will not conduct a road cycle race tomorrow.

Bowater, Sanson branch, will address the meeting. A dance in aid of the football queen (Miss TV. Dewe) wits held at the Aorangi Maori meeting-house last evening. The spot waltz was won by Mr T. Dewe and partner, Miss L. Dungey. _ The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal, A.0.F., was held on Wednesday when a hearty welcome was accorded Courts Hinemoa and Mannwatu, who paid a fratornal visit. In acknowledging the welcome, the Chief Rangers of both visiting courts complimented the local court on its well attended meeting. At the conclusion of the business, nil sat down to supper, following Which dancing and cards were enjoyed. -
