PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. NOTICE is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council proposes at a Special Meeting to be held on the 30th day of August, 1937, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £IO,OOO (Ten thousand pounds} for the purpose of enabling the said Council to relay the Main Sewer in College Street West, Botanical Road and Ferguson Street West, and to purchase all materials required in connection therewith. That the said sum of £IO,OOO is to be secured by a special rate of Oneeleventh of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Palmerston North, for the purpose of providing the annual payment of Interest, Sinking Fund and other charges thereon. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Palmerston North City Council not later than the day preceding the said Meeting.
