NEW CHURCH AT ASHHURST.

The new Catholic Church of St. Columba at Aslihurst, built to replace the wooden church destroyed by fire last year has now been completed, and will i,c blessed and opened for worship on Sunday at 10 n.m. by His Grace Archbishop O’Shea. The new church is in brick and reinforced concrete, sill'mounted by a Norman tower, and embellished with coloured leadhght windows. Combining strength of structure with grace of style, the new St. Co - umlia’s will be an attractive landmailc to tlie district, and the opening on Sunday is likely to be attended by a largo gathering of visitors.
