Aberliart (Premier of Alberta) asking if lie is willing for tlie Alberta bank legislation to be referred to the Supremo Court of Canada to test its constitutionality. Mr Aberliart is calling a Cabinet meeting for Monday. It is stated that the quarrel is not with Mr Aberliart but with the English experts, whom even Major C. H. Douglas is not backing. A war on the banks is repudiated, but it is stated that interest must decrease, ‘and the fact that Australia has cut interest rates and lessened the burden on the public is cited.
